Terrific book for clinicians.

Unlike some of the wonderful, but overly dense obesity textbooks out there, this book is concise and yet packed with digestible information. It's more practical and less esoteric than other textbooks I've read. I re-read this book before taking my obesity medicine boards and found it was a helpful review. In the interest of disclosure, I do know the author, who is an acquaintance at the hospital where I am on staff. In the years I have heard him educate colleagues, med students and housestaff about obesity, I have always found him to be interesting and articulate, as he is in this book.
