Die methodische Herangehensweise dieser Arbeit orientiert sich an den drei Säulen: Zu Beginn verschaffen wir uns einen Überblick über eben jenes Modell, sowie das der Emissionslizenzen und arbeiten dann die drei Säulen anhanddes Handelssystems der Emissionslizenzen ab.Abschließend ziehen wir ein Fazit und sind gerüstet, eine fundierte Antwort auf die uns nun begleitende Forschungsfrage zu geben: Ist das europäische System des Emissionshandels konzeptionell befähigt, gemessen am Drei-Säulen-Modell, eine nachhaltige Entwicklung zu fördern und zu verfolgen?

Gr 7-10-All Colette Iselin wants is to be accepted by perfect, icy Hannah and her slightly sweeter sidekick, Pilar. This means pretending that her family still has money and being mean to her brother, her mother, her unpopular classmates, her teacher, and pretty much anyone else who crosses her path. However, on a class trip to France, Colette gets distracted from her quest to be cool. First, she starts seeing Marie Antoinette's ghost (which would distract most people) and begins to fall for her nerdy-cute French tour guide. Colette realizes that the ghost is killing people and that she is next on the list, due to her family's heretofore secret role in the French Revolution. None of this is very believable, and even the realistic elements don't always ring true, as Colette and her classmates rarely step out of their stereotypes. The plot strands come together, complete with an Eiffel Tower kiss and a party held at Versailles. That said, the story moves along at a steady clip and every so often devolves into delicious, campy mayhem. This is a good choice for teens who want to dip their toes into historical fiction (emphasis on the fiction) without giving up cinematic pacing or romance. Fun, Quick Read

This is a light and fun book and should be read as such. Don't expect too much world building. When I picked it up, I just wanted a ffast and light read. That's exactly what I got.

I especially enjoyed the scenes that the people gets killed in. There is no way to say it and have it sound not creepy. But I'll try. I really like how the author described those scenes. They are very different from the rest of the novel. While the book is written in a very casual way, the death chapters are written in a very beautiful prose. It made the deaths beautiful yet chilling.

I loved everything about this book. Except for one thing: why does Marie Antoinette decide to hunt the people now, after so many generations?

Not great but Not terrible

So I think I had really high expectations when I read the synopsis for Marie Antoinette Serial Killer. This book in the, for me, ended up as nothing special. It was an ok read that in end all it left me with was a really strong desire to visit Paris. I liked the beautiful descriptions of the city but the story was bit boring. It took too long to get to the climactic ending that it felt rushed in the end.
The story is about a ghost out for revenge and she is killing the decedents of the people who betrayed her. Colette is excited about her trip to Paris and is very excited to be going to Paris for the first time. In Paris she finds out that her ancestor is one the people who betrayed Marie Antoinette and that now she has to fight for her life and the life of her friends. Meanwhile, she is investigating, getting involved with cute boys and finding herself in Paris. I liked the concept of the story it was very interesting but I don't know it just wasn't very spooky. I hate to say this but if I am being honest it felt like one of those Mary Kate and Ashley travel movies but add in ghosts to make it a Halloween special. Teenagers in a foreign country sightseeing, kissing, and finding themselves for me it was nothing new and I expected that it. It was the concept of Marie Antoinette as a vengeful serial killing ghost that was supposed to be intriguing but it fell flat me. The story kind of dragged in parts for me. It felt more like a travel guide to Paris and the life and times of the Paris elite than a bone chilling ghost story. I felt like it was easy to skim read to get to the more exciting parts. I kind of had the mystery of motive figured out way before Collette ever got there.
It was not all bad and I didn't feel like I wasted my time because I liked that Colette was able to change in the end. I liked that the lesson in the book is not listening others opinion and going with your heart. I liked that the lessons Colette learns is able to help her build better friendships and repair the friendships with her family. She does learn that in the end it is not about popularity or the quantity of friends but the quality of friends. It is for this reason that I have rounded my review of two point five to three laser pistols. Maybe one day I hope to find myself in Paris as well.

{my thoughts} - I really enjoyed reading this book. It was fast paced, romance, engaging, had a bit of mystery, history and teenage drama.

Colette is apparently an a middle class teenager that is taking her first trip to Paris for a class field trip. She has two best friends Hannah and Pilar that fall on the rich scale. It has been months since Colette shared the same status and was only allowed to continue attending her school with her friends because she was accepted for a scholarship. This also makes things difficult for her when they go shopping together because she can't just spend what she'd like, in most cases she doesn't have the funds to waste.

When they get to Paris with their class they learn that there has been a murder in which a teen had been beheaded. This murder advances into a string of serial killings in which the killer has been unable to be identified. The string of murders start to lead Colette and a classmate Audrey as well as their tour guide on a mission to find out exactly what is going to be taking place and why things are taking place.

This book was a very nice read. If you'd like to know what takes place inside it's pages: I'd suggest reading it. A lot happens in such a short amount of time a lot of things that you wouldn't ordinarily think would take place.

In the late 1890s a journalist wrote, "Spanish women would rather weep at a husband's or a son's gravesite than blush for lack of patriotic fervor." Yet at a time when women were expected to sacrifice their sons and husbands willingly for the sake of the nation, women organized and led three significant demonstrations against conscription in Spain. In Spanish Women and the Colonial Wars of the 1890s,D. J. Walker succeeds not only in contextualizing these demonstrations but also in elucidating what they suggested to contemporaries about the role of women in public life in late nineteenth-century Spain.

During Spain's military action against an uprising in its North African enclave of Melilla (1893) and its wars against separatists in Cuba (1868--78, 1895--98) and the Philippines (1896--98), Spaniards could pay a fee to the government to avoid being drafted -- leaving the poor to fill the military's ranks. To protest unequal conscription practices, women organized a demonstration in Zaragoza on August 1, 1896, and two smaller demonstrations followed in Chiva (Valencia) and Viso del Alcor (near Sevilla). While such demonstrations were small in number and had no effect on government policy, they received considerable attention in Spain and across the globe.

Drawing on a broad range of primary sources, including literature, memoirs, and visual representations, Walker explores what the eruption of these protests meant to the various groups that made up the political opposition in Spain. She also considers the extent to which the history of women in the 1890s yields insights into the Spanish government's efforts to muffle any calls for change that were connected either to the status of women or that of the working classes. She reviews the representation of women in connection to war and violence in the press and in other contemporary writings, as well as the perceptions of women and violence regarding the Paris Commune (still a vivid memory for a number of Spaniards in 1896) and anarchism. The appendix includes excerpts from primary sources that present often-neglected ideas and programs of dissident women, including Teresa Claramunt, Soledad Gustavo, and Angeles López de Ayala.

Peter Culshaw was described by his friend Malcolm McLaren as 'the Indiana Jones of world music'. This book is about a group of 4 divers (3 amuture divers, 1 handicaped diver) who are looking for a sunking Spanish vessel that has a huge treasure aboard it. But they have to find it behind everyone's back and before a treasure hunter finds it first.

If you like the sea, diving, and suspence, then read this book.

Aside from a few typos and grammatical issues, this was a lovely and poignant story. I do like the idea that there could conceivably be hundreds of ghost stories attached to any thrift or charity shop, even though it rings a little similar to "Friday the 13th, the series". The characters were well built and believable, and little Emily does a great job of both being endearing and moving the plot along when necessary. A little raw editing aside, this was a nice, simple, and sad little ghost story.

Gr 2-4-In this slight memoir, Grossinger draws a parallel between her feelings of not belonging and Jackie Robinson's experience as an African American baseball player in the 1950s. When the star athlete and his family stayed at the hotel in the Catskill Mountains owned by her cousins, the Grossingers, Robinson took a personal interest in young Tania by playing a game of Ping-Pong and listening to her concerns about feeling "on the outside looking in," and the two became lifelong friends. Illustrations show that living in the Grossinger's "castle" was difficult for the shy, awkward youngster even though famous celebrities visited often. The stylized, almost impressionistic collage artwork makes the 13-year-old look very different from one page to the next. About the Author
Tania Grossinger is the author of the Skyhorse titles Growing up at Grossingers and Memoir of an Independent Woman; An Unconventional Life Well Lived. In addition to having published over 100 travel articles in newspapers and magazines throughout the country, she appeared on the Today show, Good Morning, America, 20/20, NPR, and over 150 national, syndicated and local TV and radio shows.

Charles George Esperanza was born the second of six kids. The South Bronx is where he first opened his eyelids. A land shrouded in bright colored decay, the birthplace of graffiti and the hip-hop DJ! Author and illustrator of the Sky Pony title Red, Yellow, Blue (and a dash of White too!) which was a Huffington Post best concept picture book, 2015. He lives in the Bronx, New York.

wonderful book for kids

Baseball is America's sport and no event defines the evolution of America over the past 100 years than Jackie Robinson's arrival in Major League baseball with Brooklyn Dodgers. It would be easy to write a heavy handed book for kids about race relations and the integration of baseball, but Tanya Grossinger's touching personal tale makes this intense story one that anyone can relate to. By sharing her personal insecurities as a child, she draws kids in and helps them understand what it means to take pride in yourself and your uniqueness and how person to person connections are more important than race, color, creed, sexual orientation, anything. We are all humans trying to get along. The illustration also conveys tone wonderfully and with real effect.

The story is touchingly told, my 4 year old loves it, and the tactful treatment of what it was like for Jackie has led him to ask basic questions like "why did people not want a black man to play baseball" and "why did jackie feel like he was on the outside looking in."

We've had the book for a month, and my son is asking to read it every night.

We love baseball, we love the sybol that Jacie was and is and we love this book. Great for ay kid or adult into baseball and history, and good for ages 4+

FOR KIDS OF ALL AGES

This delightfully simple book says it all with a moving message and stand-out illustrations. Designated as a "kids'" book, it's a short read, and I urge you be the lucky adult who gets to read it to your special "kid". The experience will linger with both of you for a long time. It's a real "Hero" book, the kind youngsters need as role models in their lives and thanks to Grossinger for sharing her special friendship with us.

As told by Tania Grossinger with both drama and simplicity, with illustrations to match, this true story of the unlikely bond formed by a shy girl with one of America's larger-than-life sports heroes shows that the legendary baseball player had a heart as great as his arm. Engaging and uplifting, it belongs on every child's bookshelf.
