Unbelievable

This is a very sad and depressing true story of a childs upbringing that sounds unbelievable. When reading this book it makes you feel enraged, sad, scared for the children hopeful that help is on it's way, but you're let down each time. I got to the place where I was so frustrated due to the lack of the system that I had to put the book down for days at a time before picking it up again due to the disappointment of the system. It reminds me of a movie called legion of the falls where it's full of nothing but tragedy leaving you hopelessly depressed.

This book should be standard required reading for all social workers, pastors, prosecuting lawyers en policemen who have to come in contact with women and child abuse in all countries which regard themselves as civilized.
