They have lived and worked with college students since 2008.Christin teaches writing at Gettysburg College. Compelling reading!

The choice of words and the description of events makes you feel like you are a part of the story. The very personal and open revelation of life-changing and formative years made it much more than a novel or a book on psychology, but it was actually both in informal ways. Very real. Well written. Good reading for young adults wanting to "find themselves."

Couldn't put it down!

A must read! The story is a real page turner. The author shows an incredible amount of vulnerability and heart. Taylor takes you on an intriguing journey of self discovery, and her insights on life's twists are insightful and thought provoking. I finished the book feeling compelled, empowered, and encouraged. As someone currently in a life transition (perhaps shipwrecked?), I found this story refreshing to my soul. Can't wait for her next book!

Relatable!

I wasn't sure about the concept of a "Missionary to Hollywood," but while reading the book I could relate! I have had many a shipwreck in my 37 years. It's interesting to know that I'm not only in good company, but there's a word that describes what I experienced!
