Just Basics

Expensive book for fancy pictures, Some detail on just general information. Sexing, diseases etc. Written about a lot of things but doesn't go into detail about how to fix those issues, makes you aware of what could happen. Paragraphs are short and to the point. Doesn't offer or suggest where to go to find answers on problems they show/tell you about. Well written, but very short, can be read in about 30-45 min if you include spend time looking at the pictures. A to the point book about a lot and a little about everything. I give it 2 stars for that reason, and the price.

Very Negetive content

I feel like this book gave you a more negative outlook on keeping Quail than positive. I found myself skipping over sections as I became more disturbed by the abundant paragraphs about " what could happen if" looking for actual helpful information about Quail Husbandry. I feel Like it should have been titled the "Negative and Scary aspects of keeping quail" .. but certainly not the most Practical.

Good quick read

I am interested in beginning a business and am looking into the possibility of raising quail. the book was a quick read and I was able to get most of my questions answered. I would have like to know more about introducing new birds to the flock.
